Alaska raised meats, delivered to your door.

STERLING, AK

real meat. raised right.

Delicious looking whole, raw chicken with garnishes.

pasture-raised poultry

This is our flagship product, meant for the everyday. Truly pasture-raised, moved daily, soaking in the sun, munching on grass, and scratching for grubs—this is chicken as it is meant to be. When raised right, it turns out chicken actually doesn’t taste like everything.

Delicious looking lamb chops grilled to perfection.

pasture-raised lamb

Our lamb is hands hands down the most delicious meat around. We raise St. Croix, which are smaller bodied and slower growing heritage breed, and they produce a mouth-watering, lean, and subtle meat that will win over the hearts (and taste buds) of lamb enthusiasts and skeptics alike.

Delicious looking pork chops ready to cook.

pasture-raised pork

All of our pork comes from Tamworth hogs raised on pasture or in the forest. They are known for being excellent foragers and producing lean, “bacony” meat. They are a great fit for Alaska with their longer legs and ability to gain upwards of 25% of their feed just from pasture!

  • Food is not just fuel. Food is about family, food is about community, food is about identity. We nourish all those things when we eat well.

    Michael Pollan

  • Some, I know, will think it bloodthirsty or worse to eat a fellow creature you have known all its life. On the contrary, I think it means that you eat with understanding and with gratitude. A significant part of the pleasure of eating is in one's accurate consciousness of the lives and the world from which food comes. The pleasure of eating, then, may be the best available standard of our health.

Wendell Berry, The Pleasure of Eating

  • The first supermarket supposedly appeared on the American landscape in 1946. That is not very long ago. Until then, where was all the food? Dear folks, the food was in homes, gardens, local fields, and forests. It was near kitchens, near tables, near bedsides. It was in the pantry, the cellar, the backyard.
